How We Compare Pillows
Our comparison methodology, and an honest status list of the comparisons still in draft.

Short answer
A pillow comparison is only useful if both sides are described from verified sources using the same criteria. We compare shape, loft, materials, adjustability, temperature behaviour, care requirements and purchase terms — and we publish nothing until each value has a dated source. Our comparison pages are therefore live as drafts, marked noindex, and excluded from our sitemap.
The criteria we use
- Shape and intended sleeping position.
- Loft at the neck and under the head, from a dated source.
- Footprint and pillowcase compatibility.
- Core material and whether the fill is adjustable.
- Temperature behaviour and cover breathability.
- Care requirements — what can be washed and how.
- Purchase terms: where it is sold, trial period, return conditions.
- What could not be verified, stated openly.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- No invented competitor specifications, ever.
- No declaring one product the winner in every category.
- No price comparisons, because prices and bundles change constantly.
- No comfort verdicts on pillows nobody on our side has slept on.
- Every material fact carries a source and an access date.
